In November 2025, UK retail sales volumes saw a slight decrease of 0.1% from the previous month, contrary to predictions of a 0.4% increase. This follows a revised 0.9% decline in October, marking the second consecutive month of falling sales. Non-store retailers, particularly online jewelers, reported lower demand due to steady precious metal prices. Meanwhile, supermarket sales dropped for the fourth month in a row, indicating a consistent decline in customer visits. Despite these reductions, there was a 1.0% increase in non-food store sales.
